So as I sit here, feet up on a beanbag, "Universal" by blur plays through the speakers, and a cup of tea in my hands, I ponder the endless amounts of films that have been created throughout history, Romances, Horrors, comedies, re creations upon re creations of the same stories and very, very rarely a quality piece of film making will be churned out of the huge machine that is known as "Hollywood". For the most part all cinemas now play a string of Hollywood productions with Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt, which, don't get me wrong are perfect for the times when you want to watch a film that... let's say, doesn't require much brain work, but sometimes I will go to the cinema, expecting to be paying £8.00 for a half decent film, and end up coming out feeling like I just wasted by money and my time on a story I have seen a million and one times already!
After this happening one too many times to every single one of us, I provide you with my own reviews of both new and old films right here, starting with my experience of "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" 2014, at the cinema. Tah for reading! :) x
